- If you have any install data or patches delete them.
- Enter Multiman, use the file explorer (or press select-start on the game to go to it’s location in file explorer) locate the folder in which you store your backups (GAMES or GAMEZ) and inside the gta4 game folder look for the folder PS3_GAME and press O(Circle) and choose “shadow for PKG game ” then say yes. and wait
- Now go into dev_hdd0/game and delete the folder BLES01128 that you just created (yes delete it)
- With Multiman (Ftp or USB) transfer and replace the following files in the correct directories : 5.1 Replace the COMP.BIN with the modded one in this directory dev_hdd0/G/E01128/USRDIR Note: This is where I messed up the first several times as I did not notice the G folder in dev_hdd0 do not replace the COMP.BIN in the gta4 folder in your GAMES or GAMEZ directory. Also make a back up of the original, just in case. 5.2 Go to your GAMES or GAMEZ directory where you have the game folder at and replace the EBOOT.BIN with the modded one(make a copy of the original, just in case).
- Load the game with Multiman or Other manager

- If it doesn’t work try the FIX PERMISSIONS in Multiman The reason why the black screen appears after the game load screen* installing data on your device * doesn’t display on blackscreen . ************************************************* I will write all the steps for the BLUS version and this tutorial may be useful for the BLES version. 1- Download the game safely through the links and try to check the health of the compressed files through the 7-zip program 2. Create iso from the Game folder with software PS3 ISO Tools https://www.pspcx.com/ps3-iso-tools-download-free/ 3- If your ps3 has been hacked through Hen, you should download and install the irismanager program and put the iso file inside a flash in ntfs format.(P.s 1) 4-in the irismanager copy iso file through file Manger to ps3iso. 5. After entering the game and selecting the main game and seeing the game logos, the word installing data on your device or something like that will be seen in that Black loading screen… 6-Now you can play game without any problem and you can update it. P.s 1: in my options only way to copy and move from NTFS is irismanager you can use FTP way or any way that you want. P.S 2:I ran game from iso in external storage and install game data but after I copy game folder in GAMEZ Black Screen Appeared again make sure you run game from iso. Good luck.
